A. Access from Key Arrival Points
A.1 From Purwokerto Railway Station
- Travel time: around 15–20 minutes by car or taxi.
- Recommended: taxi or ride-hailing app (Grab/Gojek).
- Destination for the driver: “Hotel Aston Purwokerto”
- Ask the driver to continue on Jalan Overste Isdiman. Drop-off and parking are at Hotel Aston Purwokerto.
A.2 From Purwokerto Bus Terminal (Terminal Bulupitu)
- Travel time: around 15–25 minutes by car or taxi.
- Recommended: taxi or ride-hailing app.
- Give the same destination instruction as in A.1 and ask to be dropped directly at Hotel Aston Purwokerto.
A.3 From Airports (YIA/NYIA and CGK) by Train
Most participants will transit through Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA/NYIA) or Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK) and continue by train to Purwokerto.
A.3.1 From Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA/NYIA)
- Follow signs to Yogyakarta International Airport Station inside the airport.
- Buy a ticket for the airport train to Yogyakarta (Tugu) Station.
- Take the airport train (± 40–60 minutes).
- At Tugu Station, board your pre-booked intercity train to Purwokerto. Travel time is about 3–4 hours.
- Arrive at Purwokerto Railway Station, then follow section A.1 to reach the campus.
A.3.2 From Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK, Jakarta)
- From your arrival terminal, follow signs to the Airport Rail Link Station.
- Buy a ticket to Manggarai Station and take the airport train (± 40–60 minutes).
- From Manggarai, go to your intercity station (Pasar Senen or Gambir) by commuter train, taxi, or ride-hailing app.
- Board your pre-booked intercity train to Purwokerto (± 5–7 hours).
- Arrive at Purwokerto Railway Station, then follow section A.1 to reach the campus.
Tip: Always allow buffer time between flight arrival and train departure, and book intercity train tickets in advance.
B. Getting to the Campus & ICCRAIDS Building
B.1 Using Taxi or Ride-Hailing (From Station, Terminal, or Hotels)
- Install and set up Grab or Gojek (or use conventional taxis where available).
- Set your destination to “Hotel Aston Purwokerto“ and double-check the pin.

D.2 Weather and What to Pack
- Climate: tropical, generally warm and humid year-round.
- Typical temperature range: around 24–32°C.
- Rain showers are common, especially in the rainy season.
What to bring:
- Light, breathable clothing suitable for warm weather.
- A compact umbrella or light rain jacket.
- Comfortable shoes or sandals that can handle wet surfaces.
